Traveling Clients: Planning Your Visit to Revive

A meaningful number of our clients don't live down the street. They fly or drive in from other cities and states specifically to work with our injectors and providers, often after following their results on social media for months before booking. If you're planning a trip to see us, this page will help you plan a visit that makes the most of your time here.

Choosing the Right Treatment for Your Trip

Not every treatment fits neatly into a single visit, so it's worth thinking through your goals before you book travel. Injectable treatments like Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, and Kybella are typically completed in one appointment, making them well suited to a single trip. Full facial balancing consultations often result in a same-visit treatment plan as well, even when that plan is comprehensive.

Some treatments are intentionally built around multiple sessions spaced weeks apart, including Sculptra, RF microneedling, CO2 fractional laser, and laser hair removal. If you're interested in one of these, talk with your provider about the full timeline before booking travel, since you may need to plan a follow-up trip or coordinate with a local provider for maintenance between visits.

Planning Your Visit

A little planning ahead of time helps your appointment go smoothly, especially if you're coordinating travel around it.

  • Schedule your consultation as early as possible, since some treatment plans benefit from time to consider before your appointment
  • Ask your provider whether your treatment can realistically be completed in a single visit, or whether it's part of a longer series
  • Plan to arrive with a clean face and to follow any pre-treatment instructions relevant to your specific service
  • Build in some buffer time after your appointment before travel, particularly after injectable treatments, in case of mild swelling or bruising
  • Let our team know you're traveling in when you schedule, so we can help plan an efficient visit

What to Expect During Your Visit

Many traveling clients complete their consultation and treatment during the same visit, especially for injectable appointments. Your provider will walk through your goals, assess your specific concerns, and build a plan together with you, the same thorough process every Revive client goes through, whether they live five minutes away or five states away.

If your treatment plan includes multiple sessions, your provider will talk with you honestly about what can be accomplished during this trip and what would need to happen on a return visit or with a provider closer to home.

Traveling Clients Frequently Asked Questions

Can I complete my entire treatment plan in one trip?

It depends on the treatment. Most injectable appointments are completed in a single visit, while treatments like Sculptra or certain laser series are intentionally spread across multiple sessions. Your provider can walk you through what's realistic for your specific goals.

How far in advance should I schedule my consultation?

As early as possible, especially if you're coordinating travel around your appointment. This also gives you time to review your treatment plan before committing to it.

Will I need to stay in town for multiple days?

Most single-session treatments, like Botox or filler, don't require an extended stay beyond your appointment day. Multi-session treatment plans may require a return trip or coordination with a local provider between visits.

Can I have my consultation done remotely before I arrive?

Contact your preferred location directly to ask about consultation options before you travel, since availability can vary by treatment and provider.

What should I do if I experience swelling or bruising before my flight home?

Mild swelling or bruising is common after many injectable treatments and typically isn't a barrier to travel. Your provider will let you know if anything about your specific treatment warrants extra precaution before flying.

Who can help me plan the details of my trip?

Our front desk team at each location is happy to help you think through appointment timing and answer any logistical questions as you plan your visit.
